Electrical Engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of Electricity, Electronics and Electromagnetism. Electrical engineering is focused on developing the technology surrounding electricity, electronics, circuits, and embedded design systems. They work on a wide variety of electronic components, devices, and systems found in computers, robotics, telecommunications, power systems, and more.
The department of E.E.E. has fully equipped state of the art labs with modern technology. It has rich experienced and dedicated faculty with background of industry and teaching experience which moulds enthusiastic students into excellent engineers. The exposure to the latest technologies fosters creativity and independent thinking of students. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it can fulfill the following objectives:
Graduate should be cognizant in basic Sciences, fundamental Engineering stream along with contemporary problem solving, critical analytical skills in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and allied fields.
Graduate should understand the issues related to design and development and should update the knowledge skills and behaviour through continuous learning in the field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
Graduate should demonstrate their technical, communication and research aptitudes along with leadership skills in a professional environment to empower employability, higher education and entrepreneur successfully.
Graduate should be motivated with high ethical, human values and team work towards development of the society.
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is endowed with state-of-the-art laboratories, seminar halls and smart classrooms towards fulfilling these objectives
Electrical Engineering is a core branch of Engineering. It is an evergreen branch. Qualified Electrical Engineers are always in demand, since most Industries use electricity and electric machines. Engineers are required by Industries for operational, maintenance and manufacturing purposes. Electrical Engineers in India can secure jobs in power distribution companies, power plants, railways, metro rails, the aviation sector and manufacturing sector. SVEC offers ample of job opportunities through on-campus and off-campus drives where students can exhibit their knowledge and skills and secure jobs with high salary packages.
The graduates can opt for immediate employment through placements or pursue research through advanced courses such as M.Tech or MBA.
